How to beat the Mumak! When I read the book and saw the ridiculously hard to kill table I feared to wonder what could take one of these beasts down, never mind 2 of them. Small Units or Feed it poop: The Mumak does D3 hits per company so small units or units with R2+ are great to keep it busy. Ok it can just cruise through you but it's something to think about and if you can charge and hold the beast until support arrives or to stop it charging a 6 company block of troops then so much the better.
Other Monsters: Ent's and Eagles are just as fast and manoeuvrable as the Mumak and can take the damage it puts out, however they have the required strength to do damage in return and loosing combat isnt a worry as monsters alone never need to test.There are other units which can ignore resilience which could be very effective but this is mainly in evil vs. evil battles.
