1. Archers lose damage when the mob is right in your face, close enough to keep attacking you without needing to get closer; One step behind is enough to be able to deal your full damage, but of course, it′s better to get some distance in order to make it better.
2. The main point of kiting is to allow yourself to deal your full damage. It′s also good because we can evade some attacks, but that′s not what kiting is about after all! So don′t worry if you are still getting hit! Kite so you can deal all your damage - you will kill it faster, even though you are "losing time" running around.
3. It helps a lot at kiting if you have the "Attack" in your skill bar. Press B, find it and drag to your skill bar. Then all you need to do is hit the mob, run and press the attack button, run again, press the button. I realized some people would lose a lot of time trying to rotate the camera to find and click on the mob again.
4. Don′t forget that if you pull the mob too far from where it was, it will come back to that point, making you miss all your attacks and having to start it all over again, since the mob will recover all it′s HP. So keep in mind where the mob came from and try to kite in a big circle around that spot.
