You are put down to one hp and you can not use potions to heal or return to town items to escape for 60 seconds. HOWEVER the Scientists Instant can revive the Dementers if they die. A group of Dementers working together with scientists to catch them before the enemy is able to snag that last 1 hp can be devastating.
