Protectors are really useful in Maplestory. The super def ups usually prompt immediately gem breaking, but Power Up, Magic up (if you have lots of Chronos), and Avoid Up are all cheap to summon and will leave your opponents questioning themselves. Also, if you hoard lots of CPs, try having loads of power ups at once. Unlessyour opponents are well coordinated, this will throw them off with almost guaranteed success.
