Get to 50, go to PLOM, buy honor from PLOM until you're rank 1. Now just go quest until you run out (at level 98 or so) and by then you should be Rank 3.
At this point, you can either go farm your ass off in the War Channel, participate in TG, or use PoH.
Alternatively, killing things in War Channel gets you a lot of skill exp, and at the same time a lot of honor. You can get around 2k honor an hour if you find a good spawn,
and you also get a lot of lamps/cores.

You can buy Fox another Landmaster with your honor, and you can buy a body guard so he doesn't have to fight for his friends.
You can buy larger stacks of potions and return stones, as well as formula cards and discs.
you can wear earrings and bracelets at rank 4 for some of them.
